The Titans are proud to announce that we received a $3,000 Crerar Grant from the Potomac Valley Amateur Hockey Association.
The grant will be used to sponsor a Learn to Play Hockey Day, in late January, providing equipment, ice time and coaching to allow locals boys and girls to try hockey. The date for the event will be announced soon.
Want to participate? Email Glen Justice at email@example.com to get on the list, and we'll send you details when the event is confirmed.
The Potomac Valley Amateur Hockey Association is an Affiliate of the Southeastern District of USA Hockey. The Affiliate is the governing body of all amateur hockey in Washington DC, Maryland and Virginia.
The grant was established to honor John Crerar, who played a major role in creating organized amateur hockey in the Washington area. Crerar was a co-founder of the Capital Beltway Hockey League and served for many years as a Director of USA Hockey.
