Coach Willy Meaux, the founder of Titans Hockey, is a USA Hockey Level 5 Certified Master Coach. He has completed CEP Modules for U19, U18, U16, Bantam, Pee Wee, Squirt and Mite levels. Willy Meaux began coaching youth hockey at the Reston Raiders Hockey Club in 2000 and at Fort Dupont Ice Arena's Kids On Ice Program in 2001. He has coached inner-city kids for more than 15 years. In 2008-2009, he was Head Coach of the Bishop O'Connell JV Hockey Team. He was Head Coach of the Presidents Hockey Team of Washington Midget AA Travel Selects and Head Coach of the Bantam AAA Travel Selects, who won Silver and Gold respectively in the 2010 Canlan Winter Classic. In 2012-2013, he was Assistant Coach for the Team Maryland Tier 1 AAA Midget U16 team, and in 2011-2012 was an Assistant Coach of the Team Maryland Tier 1 AAA Bantam Major Team. In 2010, Coach Meaux led establishment of the NHL-Thurgood Marshall Scholarship, which enables inner city youth to achieve higher education. Coach Meaux founded the Georgetown Titans in the 2010-2011 season, and was the Titans' V1 Silver Team Head Coach for the 2016-2017 season.
Coach Chris Chilbert is the V2 Titans Head Coach for the 2017-2018 season. Coach Chris is a USA Hockey Level 4 Certified Coach. He played youth hockey in his home town of Geneva, New York, for the Geneva Generals Organization from Mites through Midgets levels. He also played Lacrosse at the US Naval Academy. Coach Chilbert was the Tiny Titans Coach for their inaugural 2013-2014 season as well as the 2014-2015 season. His sons Adam and Luke are Titans players.
Coach Don Marlais is head coach for the Titans V1 Middle School team. A relative newcomer to hockey, Don began coaching Mites 6 years ago. He moved through the USA Hockey coaches program and is currently a Level IV certified coach. Don has coached house Mini-Mites, Mites, Squirts, PeeWees, Bantams and Midgets. He also served as an assistant coach for Capitals Academy Travel Team (CATT) Squirts and PeeWees. Don will have four teams in the fall, not including his own adult league team. Last year, was Don’s first year with the Titans and he is looking forward to the upcoming season!
Coach Joshua Heckman, a Senior at Georgetown University, is the Goalie Coach for the Georgetown Titans. Josh was born in Reading, Pennsylvania, and naturally grew up as a big Flyers fans. He started skating when he was 7 years old, and started playing goalie when he was 10 years old. He began a travel hockey career with the Bantam AA Reading Jr. Royals, then played with the Reading Jr. Royals U16A. He played with the Lancaster Firebirds U16AA team where he was a 2012 DVHL All Star. The next season he played with the Berks Batallion U18A team, and played with the U18AA Grundy Senators before entering Georgetown. He has worked with goalie coach Terry Denike for numerous years, assisting with camps, clinics and his cross ice youth hockey program. In 2016-2017Josh played for Georgetown's ACHA D2 Team, which made it to the championship game before losing to UNC.
Coach Charlotte Gilliland began skating at age 4 and played for the Greenwich Skating Club from Squirt to U-14, where she won the New England Championship title and participated in the USA Hockey National Tournament twice, in addition to winning MVP during her last year in the program. She was also selected for the Connecticut Hockey Conference’s Elite U-16 team and played for the DYHA U-19 team throughout high school. Charlotte also played for Greenwich Academy, a member of the NEPSAC, throughout high school where she was an Alternate Captain during her Senior year. She is now a junior at Georgetown University.
Coach "T" is from Antalya, Turkey, and was a figure skater on a local synchronized skating team for 2 years. His passion for hockey led him to the Titans, where he specializes in improving players' skating skills. He serves as the Powerskating Coach for all of Titans' age groups. Coach T recently graduated from Georgetown University School of Foreign Service with a degree in Global Business.
Coach Will Bukowski, a junior studying biology at Georgetown University, is an Assistant Coach to the Titans' 10U Squirt Team in the 2017-2018 season. Coach Will had a long career playing AA and AAA hockey at the club level in North Carolina. He still plays for Georgetown's club hockey team and was named one of two defensemen to Atlantic Coast Collegiate Hockey League.
Coach Ben Allen grew up playing ice hockey in DC, and has been Head Coach for the Tiny Titans (MITES) since the 2015-2016 season. He was an Assistant Coach for the Tiny Titans in the 2014-2015 season.
Coach Richard Fontana is an Assistant Coach to the Titans V1 Middle School Team. He has coached various Titans teams for 5 years. He grew up in Livonia, MI where he started playing youth hockey at age 5. He played AA Bantam and then played for his Div 1 (class AA) high school team, Stevenson High School in Livonia, MI. He went on to play 4 years, D2 club team at the United States Coast Guard Academy and will be a Level IV certified coach this year.
Coach O'Neill is in his third year as an assistant for the Tiny Titans where coaches his sons Quinn and Will. Coach O'Neill grew up playing travel hockey for various programs in Buffalo, NY. He is a Level1 Certified USA Hockey Coach and also coaches lacrosse for the Arlington Youth Lacrosse Club.
